How our appraisals work
You send photos, we identify the pressings and look up what the same records in similar condition have actually sold for recently. We use sold prices, never asking prices, so the value reflects what buyers really pay.
Within two business days you get a written range for the whole collection, plus the individual records that drive most of the value.
Why a few records matter most
In most collections, a small share of the records makes up most of the value. An original 1950s jazz pressing can be worth more than a hundred common rock albums. That's why we ask for close-ups of labels and runout etchings: they show whether a record is an original or a reissue.
How we grade condition
We use the Goldmine scale, the standard among collectors and on Discogs and eBay.
